HALL OF FAME PITCHING CLINIC
With Jim Clem, Gary Hatch & Bill Calkins
Train two days per week with two WIAA “Hall of Fame” baseball coaches. Mondays and Thursdays (13-18yo). Eight (8) hours of intense, carefully supervised, live instruction, seventy-five minutes per day. Program designed to prepare, train and develop the “serious” pitcher for their upcoming season. Increase pitching velocity, command, control and accuracy. Arm-care program is based on the popularity of strength and conditioning for pitching, we are looking to develop our athletes with usable strength and flexibility to support their mechanics and pitch totals. Every player will be mentored on exercise protocols that are cross-specific for pitching.

TIMES: Mondays 6:00-7:15 PM & Thursdays 6:00 - 7:15 PM

Focus is in hitting mechanics, drills and reps. Development of the physical and mental approach to the game. “Dartfish” video analysis is included.

NWBI ELITE PITCHING & CONDITIONING PROGRAM
With Coach Andy Hanson (7 weeks)
ONLY 10 PITCHERS ALLOWED IN THIS CLASS

Intense program designed to prepare, train and condition the “serious” pitcher. Increase pitching velocity, command, control and accuracy. Arm-care program is based on the popularity of strength and conditioning for pitching, we are looking to develop our athletes with usable strength and flexibility to support their mechanics and pitch totals. Every player will be mentored on exercise protocols that are cross-specific for pitching.

NWBI Private and Small Group Lessons
Northwest Baseball Institute (NWBI) and the Northwest Fastpitch Academy (NFA) offer personalized instruction to students that desire to improve their fundamental skills and become better players. All NWBI-NFA students can now take advantage of working-out during the year and receive the extra coaching expertise that is necessary for the dedicated baseball athlete to stay in sync.
Our Private, Small Group and Team programs guarantee that your player’s receive the individualized attention and instruction needed to improve their game skills. NWBI-NFA instructors are highly qualified and trained to teach all aspects of our instructional series. Instructors keep a watchful eye on the participating players, teaching them fundamentals to instill a life-long love of the game.
NWBI-NFA instruction will emphasize
INDIVIDUAL SKILLS - Developing skills and mastering techniques provides greater awareness of, and insight into, the entire game.
INDIVIDUAL & GROUP DRILLS - Functional practices designed to achieve a greater understanding of positional play and promote better decision making relative to each player’s roles and responsibilities.
TEAM STRATEGIES - Intense training sessions focus on integrating individual skills and positional play, for the benefit of the team.
