Welcome to the Northwest Baseball Institute (NWBI)
The Northwest Baseball Institute (NWBI), Northwest Fastpitch Academy (NFA) and Hall of Fame Camps & Clinics (HOF) offer clinic's, camps and personalized instruction to students that desire to improve their fundamental skills and become better players. All NWBI, NFA & HOF students can now take advantage of working out during the year and prepare for their upcoming baseball season.
Our low student to teacher ratio guarantees that students receive the individualized attention and instruction needed to improve their game skills. NWBI, NFA & HOF groups players according to age and ability, allowing everyone to make the most of their time spent with our instructors. Our coaches are highly qualified and trained to teach all aspects of our instructional series.
Parents will be pleased with the extra attention we give our 12 and under group. Instructors keep a watchful eye on these young players, teaching them fundamentals to instill a lifelong love of the game. Individuals and groups are welcome. League presidents and coaches are encouraged to call and discuss group dates and rates.
ABOUT US
The Northwest Baseball Institute "NWBI" was formed by leading area coaches and management teams to help baseball players of all ages safely develop to their fullest potential.
"NWBI" regards each player as the "Most Valuable Player" in each of our programs and realizes their dedication and hard work deserves special recognition. As baseball teachers, we understand how challenging baseball skills can be to master. We value the idea that baseball games are played principally for enjoyment. Players are provided ample opportunity to learn and develop their individual fundamental skills in a friendly and controlled atmosphere designed to be constructive and encouraging. Key elements in our program include a disciplined environment, qualified instructors, cooperative learning and an ethic of hard work. Overall, NWBI's main objective is to offer the very best in baseball instructional training.
Who are the NWBI Instructors?
All of our instructors arrived at NWBI with two common traits; outstanding communication skills and a strong, addictive, affection for baseball. Having played or coached at higher levels is secondary to learning how to teach and present a training curriculum recognized as the best in our baseball community. More relevant than their playing backgrounds, the training and orientation period since arriving at NWBI has grown exponentially.
Starting with our instructional curriculum and hours of video review, our instructor training starts in the classroom and finishes in the hitting tunnels and on the pitching mounds. Training topics include pitching, hitting, fielding, catching and baseball specific conditioning programs. Staff meetings present new drills, individual case studies and a video review of past lessons.
Thank you for visiting NWBI.
